Beneath The Waves Film Festival (Free) Aug 2

All divers and the general public are invited to attend the Beneath the Waves Film Seminar at 5PM in Jarvis Hall, adjacent to Town Hall. The event is free!


5PM - 6PM - Jarvis Hall, 4505 N. Ocean Drive, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea


Several 3 to 5 minute underwater-related short films about ocean science and conservation will be shown. This will be followed by a question and answer session with Dr. Dave Gilliam, a professor at Nova Southeastern University's Oceanographic Center. The event is sponsored by DiveBar, a non-profit group of South Florida attorneys dedicated to preserving Florida's coral reefs.

The Beneath the Waves Film Seminar is dedicated to helping raise public awareness worldwide about Earth's threatened ocean environment.  For more information, see the event website below.
