Trash2Art West, February 4 through March 31, 2012

Trash to Treasure and Broward County Libraries are teaming up to present Trash 2 Art West.  This will be a two month presentation of repurposed artwork at Broward County's West Regional Library.  The show will run February and March.

Here are the facts that you need to know:


Cost:  $5 for Trash to Treasure Members, $10 for nonmembers for up to three (3) pieces
Intake:Saturday,  February 4 10-2
Outake: Saturday, March 31 10-2
No Reception
No Sales
Information Card Permitted -Include Contact Information
This is a public library.  Broward County accepts limited liability with a $1,000 deductible.

If you are interested, fill out the application and send to us with payment to 1100 NW 53 Street, #1, 33309 or drop-off at the Center.  You can also pay at the intake but it is first come first serve.

Thanks to everyone at West Regional for making this happen.  At least one Broward County Department appreciates us.

Volunteers Needed for T2T Reorganization

It's time for a face lift at Trash to Treasure.  We need volunteers to make a better Center.  Here are the details:



THE WORK:
We will be packing up sections, moving furniture around, painting walls and some furniture. If you have left over whitish paint. or bright colors,  in latex, any finish , it would be a welcome donation. We will be using some tools to cut wood shelves, install display fixtures , etc so if you are handy with that, you will be a great asset. Students wanting to early community service hours are welcome with adult supervison~ i need kids who can take direction and will stay focused, while they are having a good time.

THE DATES AND HOURS:
FRI, SAT, and SUN
Jan 6,7,8,
Jan 13. 14. 15
10 am until we drop each day.

THE PERKS:
Drinks and Pizza will be provided at lunch and water thru out the day.

WHAT TO BRING:
a refillable container for water
gloves if you have them
your favorite CD ( our old machine  only takes CD;s)
Your meds ( just kidding, unless you need them of course)
