Call for Artists: Trash 2 Art 2014 Intake November 1st at Arts Park in Young Circle

Call for Artists: Trash 2 Art 2014 to be held at Arts Park in Young Circle, Hollywood, Florida in the Visual Arts Pavilion November 5 – December 5, 2014

Here at Trash 2 Treasure Creative Reuse Center - Fort Lauderdale we are busy prepping for our annual art event -- Trash 2 Art.

What started out as an idea to simply raise a bit of operating capital and have some fun growing awareness for our scrappy organization quickly grew into what is now considered the premier re-purposed art show in South Florida.
This year we're taking our show to Arts Park in Young Circle, Hollywood, Florida in the Visual Arts Pavilion.  We'll be showcasing these innovative creations in conjunction with the monthly Downtown Hollywood ArtWalk on Saturday, November 15, 2014, from 6:30p – 9:30pm.

The complete exhibition will run from November 5 – December 5, 2014 at the facility at Arts Park in Young Circle, Hollywood, Florida in the Visual Arts Pavilion, Hollywood Boulevard at U.S. 1, Hollywood, Florida 33020.
For the fourth year, this will be a juried exhibition with cash prizes to the winners in professional, amateur, and student categories.

Intake for artists will be Saturday, November 1st, from 10am - 2pm.  Artists may register through this paypal link:

Trash 2 Art Registration
We'll follow up with the paperwork once we receive your payment.
Watch for updates on the specific festivities over on our Facebook page along with nearly 2000 supportive "fans" at https://www.facebook.com/Trash2TreasureFL .
Do you have an idea you'd like to share to add some excitement to our event? Please contact us at 888-828-8242.
And, since no event like this is possible without community partners, we are actively seeking sponsors at this time. If you are a like-minded business owner or individual who wants to support this event and/or the other community services that Trash 2 Treasure provides, please contact us at 888-828-8242 or email us at info@trash2treasurefl.org.
As we receive confirmation from our partners, we'll be sharing their special message of support here and through our growing network of collaborators.
And remember, all ages are welcome to participate as artists and all mediums are welcome. Our only requirement is that the materials used must be 75% recycled or re-purposed.
So, register above and mark your calendar for 11/1 Intake and 11/15 for the reception, and now go create!
