April is Earth Month! Here is a guide to the best events going on around town:
Broward College South Sustainability Week (4/16-19)
Trash to Treasure and Broward College South are teaming up to put on a full week of activities. The week will feature speakers including Broward County Vice Mayor Kristin Jacobs, an environmental fair, and movies such as Garbage Dreams. The public is welcome to attend.
Earth Day, Every Day 4/21 Birch State Park
We are teaming with the Girl Scouts to provide Kid's Crafts at this event.
All About Recycling and Trash2Art West 4/21 Broward County West Regional Library
Check out the information booth and activities from Broward County Solid Waste and Recycling Services. West Regional Library, 8601 W. Broward Bvd., Plantation then head upstairs to the art work from repurposed materials at Trash2Art West sponsored by Trash to Treasure.
And don't forget, Trash to Treasure is open our regular hours on 4/21.
